Red jasper has been used as a so-called stone of protection for thousands of years. The gem was a favourite in the ancient world, and and can be traced back to Greek, Hebrew, Persian, Latin, and Assyrian literature. Jasper is said to protect against evil spirits and forces, and is also believed to bring courage and relief from pain. It supposedly gives you the courage to speak out and the bravery to achieve personal independence. It also is said to promote physical stamina and to send negative energy back to the sender, the way a mirror reflects light.

A gift of red jasper jewellery like a bracelet or necklace, can pass on your good luck wishes for many occurrences but especially for someone travelling on a journey (moving abroad, for example), a relative about to go to hospital for an operation, a friend about to do their driving test or have an interview, or even as a good luck gift for a work colleague’s first day in a new position (or a child’s 1st day at school, for example): Man or woman, boy or girl – whether that person is your girlfriend or boyfriend, fiance, mother or father, brother or sister – it makes no difference, red jasper jewellery is a great good luck gift. Red Jasper was used by Native American warriors to prepare for conflict by providing energy and courage.

Product Details

. . a unique gift to wish luck and wellbeing

This matt silver pendant is in the form of an Indalo, recognised in Spain as a symbol of protection and good fortune. People who are lucky think positively, look for opportunities and are always open to possiblities. This is handcrafted in Andalucía, in the south of the country where, even today, in the small village pueblos that lie hidden behind the giant sierras that roll down to the Mediterranean shores, the Indalo is known for its good luck qualities.

Encourage your friends and loved-ones to be lucky and positive by sending them this pretty and meaningful present. It makes an ideal gift for any special event or occasion and shows someone you really care.

Detail: Pendant measures 23mm in length including the hanging bail, by 19mm wide. The curved Indalo figure is made of matt sterling-silver with an etched decorative pattern and a zirconite stone head that really sparkles in the light. Please note that no chain is included (although we can supply chains separately).

Everyone needs a guiding spirit to safeguard them through some of life's challenges. This little Spanish charm with its pretty, eye-catching sparkle could be just the thing. Comes gift-wrapped, like all our presents (with an information card about the Indalo) - and we can print a personal message on your behalf.
