These small, handmade Spanish bowls are not only useful but eyecatching too. They are decorated in the patterns and colours typical to the town of Nijar in south east Spain, between Europe's only desert, and the Mediterranean Sea. Every bowl is individually hand-painted in the traditional blue colour of Nijar, plus green, brown and ochre. So when you order one it will be SIMILAR to the designs shown here although maybe not identical. They are made from the local clay of the area and have a lovely rustic quality typical of this region.
Detail: The bowl measures 10.5cms (4") in diameter and 4cms high. Because it is handmade, the pattern may vary, and no two bowls are absolutely identical. Suitable for any occasion but would make perfect tapas bowls.
