Sodalite is characterised by its dark, intense blue colour with white and sometimes yellow streaks. Egyptian priests used sodalite to dispel fear and to promote a clear, insightful mind. So Sodalite jewellery makes a great gift with meaning for many people, whatever their profession – lecturer, engineer, judge, journalist, sportswoman, doctor, musician, vet, and so on, or simply a colleague at work like a supervisor, or a student friend. Why? Mystics say the gemstone can help change the way you feel about yourself. It is said to have subtle, soothing energies and help people see the wisdom of adopting a simpler, calmer and less hectic lifestyle: So, good for healing rifts in partnerships and relationships too, because it is said to help bring calm to arguments or disagreements  –  thus aiding mediators and peace makers. Sodalite makes the ideal gift for events, jobs and professions needing calm.

An inspirational gift . . trust your Instincts

This four-leaf clover necklace is a fascinating piece of jewellery: The pendant is shaped like a clover leaf . . OR, like four hearts: So, it can have a double meaning: Hearts for love and/or caring; and the four-leafed clovers as a symbol of good luck, said to protect against evil spirits and ward off misfortune and bad luck. BUT, the pendant changes colour with temperature . . and consequently, with someone's mood! It would make an ideal gift to pass on your sentiments to say "Trust your instincts" and go with your intuition.

It is widely believed that the clover symbol pre-dates Christianity, going back to a time when clovers were used as Celtic charms - allegedly protecting against evil spirits and warding off bad luck. This belief was carried forward into the Christian faith, particularly in Ireland, with the four leaves symbolising hope, faith, love, and luck. This is because the Shamrock (or 3-leaf clover) represented the Holy Trinity: one leaf for the Father, one for the Son and one for the Holy Spirit. When a Shamrock has a fourth leaf, it represents God’s Grace, and so encapsulates everything that a person could want: A lucky gift indeed.

Description: The base of the pendant is stainless-steel but it contains a thermo-chromic element, like a liquid crystal, that changes colours based upon the skin temperature of the wearer. Changes in your body temperature can occur in response to your emotions, thus reflecting your mood. It measures 30mm long (including the hanging bail) by 20mm wide, and hangs on a stainless-steel 18" curb chain.

Gift this lucky clover mood-necklace to a friend or loved-one as a daily reminder of your concern and your best wishes - and to help give them the confidence to achieve their goals. Comes gift-wrapped, like all our presents - and we can print a personal message on your behalf.
