SEARCH for Sodalite  jewellery gifts in our SHOP

Sodalite is characterised by its dark, intense blue colour with white and sometimes yellow streaks. Egyptian priests used sodalite to dispel fear and to promote a clear, insightful mind. So Sodalite jewellery makes a great gift with meaning for many people, whatever their profession – lecturer, engineer, judge, journalist, sportswoman, doctor, musician, vet, and so on, or simply a colleague at work like a supervisor, or a student friend. Why? Mystics say the gemstone can help change the way you feel about yourself. It is said to have subtle, soothing energies and help people see the wisdom of adopting a simpler, calmer and less hectic lifestyle: So, good for healing rifts in partnerships and relationships too, because it is said to help bring calm to arguments or disagreements  –  thus aiding mediators and peace makers. Sodalite makes the ideal gift for events, jobs and professions needing calm.

Product Details

. . for the spirit of luck

These delightful little stud earrings feature the lucky Indalo - a symbol of protection and good fortune.

Inspire your friends or loved-ones to be lucky and positive by sending them this meaningful present. It would make a lovely and meaningful gift for a young lady / girl - whether for a special event or occasion, or to show them that you are thinking about them and that you care.

Description: The Gold-Filled earrings measure 7mm in length and 6mm in width and the head of the Indalo figure is made up of a cubic zirconium gem which twinkles in the light. They are so neat and pretty.

Is Gold-Filled the same as Gold-Plated / Vermeil?
No, it is much better: Gold-Filled is a layer of solid gold, pressure-bonded into another metal (in our case 925 sterling silver). Whereas Gold-Plating is a very thin layer of gold that is 'plated' onto the surface of a variety of other metals. (Vermeil just means that the plated item is made of silver: Nothing more; it is still just Gold-Plated.) So, Gold-Filled has a much higher value than simple Gold-Plating or Vermeil because it contains a much greater quantity of gold; and is of higher quality because of the way that gold is included: Once termed “Rolled-Gold” it has a long history - although the modern process wasn't patented until Victorian times in England. It is much more precious and tarnish-resistant than Gold-Plated / Vermeil: It does not rub off or flake or change colour. No es baño de oro, sino chapado oro: El chapado que llevan las piezas es de 2,5 micras, lo que equivale a un chapado oro de 23 kilates.
