This is the gemstone that everyone should have for protection. It is said to protect from stress, energy drains, and bad dreams, and attract strength – an ideal gift for someone under stress like attending an interview.

In ancient times, Agate was highly valued as a talisman or amulet. It is believed to enhance the wearer’s courage, improve perception and concentration, and stimulate analytical capabilities and precision.

Agate exists in several distinct colours and the tones vary within each particular colour making every piece of Agate jewellery unique. Black Agate owes its colour to the higher level of iron and manganese. It is believed to create balance between the physical, emotional and spiritual state of the wearer. It enhances people’s analytical ability and improves their perceptiveness. Give your friend something with Black Agate when they need luck to to make an important decision – ideal gift for someone who is a judge, a lawyer or a journalist, for example. It is believed to eliminate negativity. Agate is associated with the birthstone month of May and the zodiac sign Gemini.

Info about "El Camino" :

The 1,000-year-old Way of St. James (El Camino de Santiago - in Spanish), criss-crosses Western Europe, arriving at Santiago de Compostela in Northern Spain on the Atlantic coast. At least 250,000 people travel the Camino each year from all over the world: Some people walk, others travel by bike. Many travellers choose to do the Camino for personal, rather than any spiritual or religious reasons - taking time out from their busy/modern lives and perhaps finding inspiration along the way, whilst reflecting on their life in a supportive environment. Many carry with them a Scallop Shell symbol like the one on these cufflinks. Everyone experiences the journey in a different way.

Description: These cufflinks are made of silver-plated brass in the shape of the scallop shell / concha de vieira, the symbol of the Camino de Santiago. Shell measures 16 x 18mm.

Whatever somebody’s journey through life - whether on El Camino itself, or a business trip, starting a new job, etc, many friends and loved-ones like to pass on a special gift to wish the recipient well on their journey - and success and safekeeping along the way.

Also suitable as a present for Christmas, a Christening, Confirmation and First Communion. They ship gift-wrapped, like all our presents - and we can print a personal message on your behalf.
