It is widely believed that the clover symbol pre-dates Christianity, going back to a time when clovers were used as Celtic charms - allegedly protecting against evil spirits and warding off bad luck. This belief was carried forward into the Christian faith, particularly in Ireland, with the four leaves symbolising hope, faith, love, and luck. This is because the Shamrock (or 3-leaf clover) represented the Holy Trinity: one leaf for the Father, one for the Son and one for the Holy Spirit. When a Shamrock has a fourth leaf, it represents God’s Grace, and so encapsulates everything that a person could want: A lucky gift indeed.

Dimensions: The gold-colour stainless-steel clover charm measures 15mm long by 15mm wide, and hangs on a pretty cable chain of 45cm / 17.5" in length.

Gift this lucky clover necklace to a friend or loved-one as a daily reminder of your best wishes and to help them achieve their goals. Comes gift-wrapped, like all our presents - and we can print a personal message on your behalf.
