Nowadays in the southern US states like Virginia, breaking bad means “to raise hell.” But on college campuses (especially in the 80’s and 90’s) it had the meaning “to perform well” (perhaps in a “bad equals good” sense). And although everyone knows that actions have consequences, this little necklace can remind us that grace still exists.

And why El Camino? Because this particular cross of grace is the cross of St James - famous on El Camino in Spain and France, the 1,000-year-old pilgrimage to the shrine of St. James in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela (the Way of St. James). Some 200,000 people travel this route each year from all over the world to find inspiration and/or deeper spiritual understanding.

Would make a great gift to pass on your own special message. Information card optional. Comes gift-wrapped, like all our presents - and we can print a personal message on your behalf.
