They are decorated in the patterns and colours typical to the town of Nijar in south east Spain, between Europe's only desert, and the Mediterranean Sea. Every bowl is individually hand-painted in the traditional blue colour of Nijar, plus green, brown and ochre. So when you order one it will be SIMILAR to the designs shown here although maybe not identical. They are made from the local clay of the area and have a lovely rustic quality typical of this region.
