The 1,000-year-old pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela is known as the Way of St. James (El Camino de Santiago - in Spanish). Some 200,000 pilgrims travel to the city each year from all over the world to find inspiration and/or deeper spiritual understanding. Many carry with them a Scallop shell symbol like this - believed to promote strength and hope. It is generally regarded as a journey of the body, mind and spirit.
Description: This unique Camino de Santiago scallop shell bracelet is made from 2mm-wide, high-quality black leather cord which wraps twice round the wrist and fastens with a neat silver lobster clasp. It features a small sterling-silver scallop shell charm and ring beads. For Size: This is quite flexible because it is a wrap-round bracelet, but please try to estimate your actual WRIST SIZE in the dropdown Option menu, and we will then send the bracelet sized to fit you comfortably - with a little bit of slack.
