It is widely believed that the clover symbol pre-dates Christianity, going back to a time when clovers were used as Celtic charms - allegedly protecting against evil spirits and warding off bad luck. This belief was carried forward into the Christian faith, particularly in Ireland, with the four leaves symbolising hope, faith, love, and luck. This is because the Shamrock (or 3-leaf clover) represented the Holy Trinity: one leaf for the Father, one for the Son and one for the Holy Spirit. When a Shamrock has a fourth leaf, it represents God’s Grace, and so encapsulates everything that a person could want: A lucky gift indeed.

Dimensions: The gold-coloured stainless-steel clover charm is set in a circle of crystals which measures 24mm in diameter (or 32mm long including the hanging bail). It hangs on a pretty cable chain of approx 45cm / 17.5" in length.

Gift this lucky clover necklace to a friend or loved-one as a daily reminder of your best wishes and to help them achieve their goals. Comes gift-wrapped, like all our presents - and we can print a personal message on your behalf.
