Lucky charm gifts for women – especially jewellery, available in our online shop

We have a lot of lucky charm gifts for women in our online shop – in fact, most of the gifts in our shop are suitable for a woman.

SEE  GIFTS for WOMEN / Gifts for her in our online shop . . . and help to inspire your female friends / colleagues and loved-ones.

Much of our jewellery is suited to a lady / woman / girl – and all our items are intended to have some sort of significance – indeed many pieces feature a lucky charm or some other symbol (many of a religious nature).

But what exactly is a lucky charm?

A lucky charm is an item within cultures that is believed to bring good luck – and, as noted, we have a lot of these – the majority of which are suitable for women.

But symbols can be charms too – hence the use of the expression ‘ Charm Jewellery ‘

To charm is to please or delight. It is also the power to appeal. And, when something has so-called charm, it has a special, but often undefinable, quality: It is something that attracts you but you are not quite sure why.

And so it is with a lucky charm bracelet or necklace or any other piece of so-called charm jewellery. Not only does it have that special quality of intrigue but it also has something else – something indefinable – it is pleasing but alluring too – as if it has some sort of magic power. And so it is with our lucky charm gifts for women. They all have some sort of ethereal appeal – a special meaning – and sometimes even a professed magical lucky benefit 😉  Well, that is what we hope! But of course nothing in life is guaranteed! But lucky charms are intended to encourage us to feel lucky, to think lucky and so therefore, as Tennessee Williams implied, BE lucky. If nothing else, good luck charms are enchanting, captivating and bewitching . . and yes, inspirational too.

You can see examples of our lucky charm gifts for women in our online SHOP particularly women’s jewellery such as pendants, earrings, charm bracelets, necklaces, and charm rings  . . even pottery.

A really special gift of faith

This is something special and unique: An exquisite solid-silver bookmark which is handcrafted in northern Spain into the shape of the St James cross, and featuring a scallop shell / concha de vieira, the symbol of the Camino de Santiago. “La Cruz de Santiago es un símbolo que favorece el coraje y la esperanza ante las dificultades”

The 1,000-year-old pilgrimage to the shrine of St. James in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela is known as the Way of St. James (El Camino de Santiago - in Spanish). Some 200,000 pilgrims travel to the city each year from all over the world to find inspiration and/or deeper spiritual understanding.

This would make an extraordinary gift, for example: A Christening present to treasure for a lifetime; a Communion gift; a religious Christmas present with meaning; or indeed, a special gift for anyone involved with the Camino de Santiago, or of a Christian persuasion.

Description: This petite solid sterling-silver St James cross measures 8.4cms (3.25") in length and 3.6cm (1.45") in width, and features an intricately handcrafted scallop shell in the centre. At the top of the cross is a beautiful red silk tassel.

In Xacobeo 2010 - a Holy Year (Año Santo) in Spain because the Feast of St James (on 25th July) fell on a Sunday, over 272,000 pilgrims completed the final 100 km walk to Santiago and qualified for the 'Compostela' or certificate. The Way of St. James criss-crosses Western Europe, arriving at Santiago through Northern Spain. It is generally regarded as a journey of the body, mind and spirit. Modern pilgrims choose to do the Camino for personal, spiritual and/or religious reasons - or simply to take time out from their busy, modern lives. For many, the walk is to find inspiration - improving their outlook on life, bringing them into closer contact with nature and expanding their cultural horizons through contact with other pilgrims. Everyone experiences the journey in a different way.

Gift this unique St James cross bookmark to wish someone good fortune in their life, or on their journey. Comes gift-wrapped, like all our presents - and we can add a personal message on your behalf
