NOTE 1) :

Life Path Number Calculator

Numerology is a 4,000-year-old intuitive art that gives meaning to numbers, the most famous being the Pythagorean system – from Greek mathematician Pythagoras (571- 495 BC). Our Life-Path jewellery uses this Pythagorean numerology method to calculate Life Path Number and so discover the so-called ‘life we were born to live’ . . unlocking the door to our personality and revealing the way we interact with others. Through the understanding of these numbers, it is said that we can enhance our spiritual growth and carry a constant reminder of the positive characteristics to strive for in life . . and the negative ones to avoid. It is said to be our destiny.

To calculate Life Path Number we use a system with Pythagorean roots as outlined in a fascinating book by Dan Millman “The life you were born to live” (with his online  Calculator ). Dan calls the key number your Entire Life Path Number: It is composed of your Birth Date number AND the resulting Life Path Number. For example: Birth Date: 31/08/1954 –> Birth Date Number : 3+1+0+8+1+9+5+4 = 31  So: Simple Life Path Number = 3+1 = 4 and so Entire Life Path Number would be 31/4

For aesthetic reasons our Zodiac Life Path jewellery represents these numbers using coloured beads for the numerology code – with the colours taken from the natural spectrum of the universe (as can be seen in a full rainbow):

1:Red  2:Orange  3:Yellow  4:LimeGreen  5:AegeanGreen  6:LightBlue  7:RoyalBlue  8:Indigo/Heather   9:Violet/Purple  0:White  The spacer/separator is Silver

So, the Entire Life Path Number: 31/4 would be: Yellow . Red . Silver . LimeGreen

Life Path Number 314 in colours
Entire Life Path Number 31/4 represented by the colours Yellow + Red / LimeGreen

Like astrology, numerology is considered one of the intuitive arts: It has many systems, traditions and beliefs – from numerous cultures and teachings, including Babylonia, Pythagoras, astrological philosophy, psychology, early Christian mysticism, Gnostics, and the Hebrew system of the Kabbalah; it relates to destiny.

But, what does this Life Path Number actually mean?

You can easily find this on the internet. For example: 1’s are said to be organised and ambitious, expressing individuality, leadership, and original thinking: 2’s are peaceful and diplomatic nurturers and team members with devotion to truth and simplicity. They are accepting, forgiving, uncomplicated and stable, and have great inner strength: 3’s are well-liked, positive people living life head-on, and bringing hope and joy to others by being active, harmonious, and pleasure-loving: 4’s can be rigid, but love security and are good at planning, organisation and administration: They are disciplined, hard-working, sure-footed, and determined: 5’s are free-thinking individuals liking freedom, challenges and change and are lively, fun-loving, restless, adventurous, and quick-thinking, with a good sense of humour: 6’s are natural homemakers, exuding love and security in an adaptable and harmonious way; good problem solvers who are responsible, stable, supportive, and warm: 7’s are non-materialistic, philosophical intellectuals possessing great inner strength being Independent, disciplined and reflective – even introspective: 8’s are impatient and tough goal-seekers who often accumulate wealth; they are worldly, practical, hardworking and organised: 9’s are obsessive goal-seekers with bright ideas, high ideals and innate problem solving skills  being creative, energetic, travel-loving achievers liking to complete their endeavours: 0: Zero simply acts to enhance the characteristics and energy of the number with which it is combined

NOTE 2) :

Some gems have magnetic/electric energy that can influence the behaviour of other atoms around them – so affecting the emotions and behaviour of living things. (Think of the strong field around a magnet for example which, after all, is nothing more than a a piece of iron which has its component atoms so ordered that it attracts or repels other iron objects or magnets.) This energy field that radiates from a physical body is sometimes called an aura and some people are said to ‘see’ auras as colours. It is not unique to living things, and gems can be used to strengthen other aura fields – or weaken them. Different gem types (Ruby, Amethyst, Emerald, and so on) have different energy fields and so can affect people who come into contact with them. Hence the principle of individual Birthstones.

PLEASE NOTE:  All the Birthstones on our Zodiac jewellery are real gemstones – not glass or so-called crystal beads. They hold real provenance and significance.

NOTE 3) :

Astrology, Celestial bodies and Horoscopes

Our Zodiac / Star Sign bracelets and necklaces pertain to the concept of celestial, astrological, sun / star sign jewellery which, along with their related birthstone gems and numerological symbols, personalises the jewellery with respect to birth date, birthstone and star sign.

We are all made up of atoms and chemicals – different molecules arranged in a different way to make each of us unique. But just as one dog, for example, is broadly similar to another dog, so too with human beings: A human being is clearly recognisable as human even though he might be quite distinct from his neighbour in terms of personality, race, size, skin-colour, etc. But, the manner in which these individual molecules are arranged in a particular person (for example DNA in a man) make him quite different from his neighbour. And there is more to this difference than simple descriptive adjectives and nouns like “white”, “fair-haired”, etc. How the molecules are arranged in the body and mind affect who we are.

For thousands of years, people have believed that the arrangement of these molecules can be influenced and even changed by the forces of the planets and stars around us (by gravitational pull, for example, just as the moon causes our marine tides). What’s more, this “push and pull” of the planets and other extra-terrestrial objects varies throughout the year, as the earth (and they) move. For example, when someone is born, or when they are developing in the womb, their molecules are subject to these (gravitational) forces and so, the belief goes, it makes us kindred to the positions of the stars and planets in many ways including our character and behaviour.

So, welcome to the world of Astrology – the study and the influence of the relative positions and movements of celestial bodies on humans and the natural world: Hence, Astrological jewellery.

Someone’s astrological sign refers to the particular constellation of the zodiac in which they were born – i.e. the position of all the celestial objects or stars and planets at their time of birth (divided principally into 12 distinct phases or zodiacs as our earth and sun / solar system moves on its passage through the universe). Astrology has been around since at least the 2000 BC and has its roots in calendrical systems used to predict seasonal shifts. Many cultures have attached importance to astronomical events, and some – such as the Indians, Chinese, and Mayan – developed elaborate systems for predicting terrestrial events from celestial observations. Contemporary astrology is often associated with systems of horoscopes that purport to explain aspects of a person’s personality, and to predict significant events in their lives (or destiny) based on the positions of celestial objects when they were born and at any particular point in their lives.

Gift the spirit of good luck and wellness

These delightful gold-filled earrings feature the lucky Indalo - a symbol of protection and good fortune.

Inspire your friends or loved-ones to be lucky, healthy and well by sending them these unique earrings as a meaningful present. It would make a lovely gift - whether for a special event or occasion, or to show them that you are thinking about them and that you care about their wellbeing.

Description: These Gold-Filled earrings measure approx 28mm in length including the hanging wire and 10mm in width. (Chapado de oro.)

Is Gold-Filled the same as Gold-Plated / Vermeil?
No, it is much better: Gold-Filled is a layer of solid gold, pressure-bonded into another metal (in our case 925 sterling silver). Whereas Gold-Plating is a very thin layer of gold that is 'plated' onto the surface of a variety of other metals. (Vermeil just means that the plated item is made of silver: Nothing more; it is still just Gold-Plated.) So, Gold-Filled has a much higher value than simple Gold-Plating or Vermeil because it contains a much greater quantity of gold; and is of higher quality because of the way that gold is included: Once termed “Rolled-Gold” it has a long history - although the modern process wasn't patented until Victorian times in England. It is much more precious and tarnish-resistant than Gold-Plated / Vermeil: It does not rub off or flake or change colour. No es baño de oro, sino chapado oro: El chapado que llevan las piezas es de 2,5 micras, lo que equivale a un chapado oro de 23 kilates.
